15 hours

that is the length of time that i will be in the car with my husband and my son tomorrow. we are trying to make a straight shot to lubbock from nashville! so start your prayer engines that we do not drive each other insane on this most auspicious of outings. (we went to a poetry reading tonight and i feel the need to sound somewhat poetic and use fun words.) i promise to post pictures and tell you all about my three week sojourn upon my return and recovery. so until then, keep us in your thoughts, and if you see us on the news in straight jackets you will know why!

so sorry

i apologize for my absence from blogging. for all two of you clamoring for a new post here it comes.

for two weeks i have been directing drama camp at GAC in atlanta.  it has been both fun and exhausting.  the kids are as funny, wild, and creative as ever.  they played "hot seat", did skits, and ran around like the wild animals they sometime are.  at the end of each week plays were performed that they had written themselves and of course the parents loved them, even if they made absolutely no sense what so ever.  

besides camp, liam and myself, have gone to the pool, to parks for ice cream and italian ice, and have of course been shopping!!  how can i be in atlanta and not go to atlantic station?!  it is impossible.  of course too much money was spent, as matthew will attest to.  

it has all been fun, but today it got better.  daddy is here.  we have missed him terribly.  this is the longest we have been without daddy matt in forever it seems.  

but our vacation is far from over.  we still have one more week to go.  we will be in atlanta until wednesday and then it is onto nashville for a conference for matt.  

so for now, i say, "i am so tired and ready for my own bed!"
